7Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it in the hearing of the people. Deuteronomy 29:10-15

10“You are standing today, all of you, before the Lord your God: the heads of your tribes,
Septuagint, Syriac; Hebrew your heads, your tribes
your elders, and your officers, all the men of Israel,
11your little ones, your wives, and the isojourner who is in your camp, from jthe one who chops your wood to the one who draws your water, 12so that you may enter into the ksworn covenant of the Lord your God, which the Lord your God is making with you today, 13that he may lestablish you today as his people, and that mhe may be your God, as he promised you, and nas he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. 14It is not with you alone othat I am making this sworn covenant, 15but with whoever is standing here with us today before the Lord our God, pand with whoever is not here with us today.

Joshua 24:25

25So Joshua qmade a covenant with the people that day, and put in place rstatutes and rules for them at Shechem.

2 Chronicles 15:12-14

12 sAnd they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and with all their soul, 13but that whoever would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, tshould be put to death, whether young or old, man or woman. 14They swore an oath to the Lord with a loud voice and with shouting and with trumpets and with horns.
